Walking through the Street section of The MAGIC Marketplace you heard all kinds of awesome sounds blasting through stereos from various designers. However, in the midst of the rap, hip/hop, electronic and club music filling the convention center, Skullcandy, the headphones that have become a global sensation, attracted every music lover to their booth. Sometimes it’s what’s on top that matters most. And what could be sweeter than Skullcandy? For those not in the know, Skullcandy is a Park City, UT based company (that’s right folks – right in the heart of Ski Central) that makes rockin’ headphones, earbuds, hands free devices, audio backpacks, MP3 players and “other audio enabled lifestyle products.” While they are targeting the “action sports” demographic, the overlap between that crowd and the Urban scene is pretty notable.
